Meow Meow Shuffle Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data Meow Meow Shuffle collects, how it's collected, and how it's used. Meow Meow Shuffle is made and published by Zerostat LLC (“Zerostat,” “we,” “us”). It applies on every platform where you can play: the iPhone app, the Discord Activity, and the web version.

What we collect and why

Account information

To create an account, you choose a username and give us your email address and a password. Your username is shown to other players at the table. We use your email address to sign you in, help you recover your account, send important notices about your account, and reply when you contact us. We don't use it for marketing. We store your password only in a scrambled (hashed) form, so we can't read it.

If you play inside Discord, you sign in with your Discord account instead. Discord shares your Discord user ID, username, and avatar with us so we can create your player account. We don't receive your Discord password, email address, or messages.

Game data

As you play, our server records:

• Your meow tokens balance and how you earned or spent them
• Cosmetics you own and have equipped
• Games you've played, lobbies you've joined, and results
• Records of purchases (such as a transaction ID and what you bought), so we can deliver what you paid for

We use this to run matches, keep your balance and items correct, deliver purchases, and investigate cheating or abuse.

We plan to add in-game chat and a friends list later. Before we release them, we'll update this policy to explain what's stored, how long we keep it, and how to delete it.

Technical information

To connect you to games, our server receives your IP address, device or browser type, and app version. We use this to keep connections working, fix problems, and protect the game from cheating and abuse. We delete these server logs after 30 days.

Who else is involved

• Apple. On iPhone, you can buy meow tokens through Apple. Apple processes the payment and we never receive your payment card details.
• Discord. If you play as a Discord Activity, Discord shares the account details described above. Discord's privacy policy covers what Discord itself collects.
• Ad provider. We plan to let you watch optional ads to earn meow tokens. When you choose to watch one, the ad provider may collect device information, your IP address, and advertising identifiers to show and measure the ad. On iPhone, the advertising identifier is only available if you allow tracking when asked. We haven't chosen an ad provider yet. Before ads are turned on, we'll name the provider here and link to its privacy policy.
• Hosting. Our game server runs on a server we rent from a hosting provider. Before online play launches, we'll name the provider and where the server is located.

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share your game data with advertisers.

How long we keep data

• Account and game data: for as long as your account exists.
• Server logs: 30 days.
• After you delete your account: we delete your account and game data within 30 days. Copies in our backups are removed within a further 30 days.
• Purchase records: as long as the law requires us to keep them, for example for tax purposes.

Deleting your account and data

• In the app: go to the main menu, then Settings, and choose to delete your account. This permanently deletes your username, email address, meow tokens, cosmetics, and game history. It can't be undone, and purchased meow tokens or items are not refunded.
• By email: email [email protected] from the address on your account and we'll delete it for you.
• Ads: on iPhone, you can turn off tracking in Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Tracking.

Deleting your account doesn't cancel anything billed by Apple; manage that in your Apple ID settings.

Children

Meow Meow Shuffle is for adults 18 and over. It isn't directed at children or teens, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has created an account, email us and we'll delete it.

Our website

zerostat.ai doesn't use cookies, analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, or any third-party scripts. There are no forms and no accounts on the website.

Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes basic technical information that every web request includes, such as your IP address and browser type, so it can deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. We don't use this information to identify or track you.

If you email us at [email protected], we use your email address and message only to reply to you and to handle your request. We don't add you to a mailing list, and we don't share your email with anyone except our email provider, which stores our mailbox.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll post the new version on this page and update the “Last updated” date at the top. If a change materially affects how Meow Meow Shuffle uses your data, we'll also let you know in the app before the change takes effect.
